Joy Riders
Joy Riders pays homage to vintage toys and celebrates classic space adventuring themes. Cadet Brett Bradfield is a risk taking mechanic who always seems to get himself into trouble. Xero Xanthum is a top scientist and security expert. Both find themselves assigned to the same remote research station on the planet Delphynia by Captain Cornelius Albacore. The set box is filled with bits of their backstory along with their current mission. It is currently available for purchase here.
Joy Riders is a concept developed by Matt Kaufenberg & Chris Lee. They tapped us to help them bring the project to life as collectible toys, and we were happy to jump in to help sculpt & produce this unique set.
Matt & Chris are both professional artists, which means their requests and requirements were very specific. This specificity helps clear up a lot of the ambiguity that can come with the creative design of a toy project associated with mass production. It also meant that Chris took splendid notes on every stage of this project, over many years!

Sometimes, a client needs us to hold their hand and pull them through every stage of a toy production project. For Joy Riders, we were thrilled to be able to hold hands with Chris and Matt and dance our way through the challenges of this project together. It was a fantastic experience, and we are incredibly proud of this one.
